If you need a prompt referral and the NHS system cannot accommodate you quickly, we can utilise these pathways to ensure you receive timely care. NHS Entitlements for Sight Tests and Optical Vouchers
If you are aged 60 or over, under 16, or 18 and in full-time education, you are eligible for an NHS-funded sight test.
Additionally, if you receive benefits such as Universal Credit, Jobseeker's Allowance, Pension Credit, Working Tax Credits, or are named on a HC2/HC3 certificate, you will also receive an Optical Voucher to help with the cost of your glasses. The value of the voucher will vary based on your prescription.
